PIM Shield Threaded Rod Insulators

PIM Shield Threaded Rod Insulator Kits were developed to provide a low PIM method to secure Cable Support Blocks to mounts designed for snap-in style cable hangers. Threaded Rod Insulators allow 3/8” threaded hardware to be installed in ¾” diameter snap-in mounting holes with no metal-to-metal contact between the threaded hardware and the hole.

• Mounting hole diameter: 0.70-inch to 0.76-inch diameter
• Mounting bar thickness: 0.115-inch to 0.375-inch
• System PIM performance (when tested at next higher assembly): IM3 < -100 dBm when tested in accordance with IEC 62037-8, near field test, 2x 20W test tones,while subjected to dynamic stimulus
• Material: 33% Glass Filled Nylon
• Plastic Base Color: Black
• Operating temperature: -40°C to +70°C

Mounting:

• Insert insulator halves into each side of mounting hole and install threaded hardware (sold
  separately). The protruding features on each insulator align the two halves and prevent the
  threaded rod from contacting the mounting hole.
