Imlay Kolob, Stretch, 42-Liter Canyoneering Pack

The Kolob Standard Pack is a great 37-liter pack for canyoneering in wet canyons. The Kolob is Imlay's most versatile pack, and the most popular.

The new STRETCH Kolob is FIVE Inches taller to fit people about 6’3” to 6’8”. Volume on the Stretch Kolob is equivalent to the Heaps pack, 42 liters, with a slimmer profile. Production in the USA allows us to make these up as needed, with a likely two month wait if not in stock.

Thirty-seven Liters is a good size for carrying a lot of gear on day trips, and frugal individuals can do an overnight with it. The STRETCH being 42 liters means you will be able to carry the big rope assigned to you because you are tall and strong. Carefully shaped for optimum performance in canyons, with the slanted bottom that helps stay out of the way on downclimbs. (This pack is about the same volume as a Heaps, but much more slender, much more amenable to sneaking through canyons.)

The Kolob features PVC-laminate "armor" in key, high-abrasion areas, such as the bottom and the bottoms of the sides.. The Cordura back pocket is a little larger and also acts as armor against abrasion.
