We want to inform our customers about a Product Safety Notice issued by CMC for their LEVR™ Escape System, covering units manufactured between January 1, 2023, and February 1, 2024. This notice requires a mandatory inspection due to the discovery of incorrectly reeved LEVR Descenders in a limited number of systems, posing a risk of inadequate descent control.

CMC has not reported any injuries but is taking this precautionary step to require inspections for all potentially affected systems. They advise owners to check their system's manufacture date, remove it from service if it falls within the specified range, and follow detailed inspection procedures provided in their notice. CMC is offering support for inspection and repairs, including shipping for affected systems at no charge. We urge all our customers who own a LEVR Escape System to take immediate action as outlined by CMC to ensure your safety.
